Producer András Muhi, Inforg Stúdió (www.inforgstudio.hu) has annonced that Womb, the new film from Golden Leopard winner Benedek Fliegauf, will complete its final cut on August 20.
After shooting in Germany (Berlin and Sylt island, North Sea), the film is in the editing room. Fliegauf will next work with the sound designer.
Womb is a non-traditional love story about Rebecca (Eva Green) who clones her boyfriend Thomas (Matt Smith) after he dies in an accident.
The film, a co-production of Hungary's Inforg Stúdió and co-producer Cédomir Colar of ASAP Films (/www.asapfilms.com), and Germany's Razor Film Production Gmbh (http://www.razor-film.de/flash/razorfilm.html), has a budget of 3.6 million Euros. The Hungarian Motion Picture Public Foundation (MMKA, (english.mmka.hu) has supported the projekt from 2006 to 2009 with a total of HUF 167 million (620,000 Euros).
