PRODUCTION: Magic Boys nears end of shooting

Magic Boys, which stars Michael Madsen and Vinnie Jones, will complete filming after two more shoots in London and Budapest. The film, directed by Róbert Koltai, is being shot mainly in English.

Producer Gábor Koltai P. told magyar.film.hu that the film is 85% ready. After several conflicts between partners and negative financing decisions from the Hungarian Motion Picture Association (MMKA - http://english.mmka.hu/) the film will be an English-Hungarian-American production with 75% of the budget being supported by the Hungarian partners.

The film has a budget of 850 million HUF (3 million euros), and the producers already have the funds for the last two sessions of the shooting, but they still need funding to finish the movie. Magic Boys is planned to be presented in Hungarian cinemas by the end of the year.
