The organisers of the Szolnok International Film Festival of Fine Arts are calling for entries for the event which will be held Oct. 8-12 this year in Szolnok, Hungary. Entries are being accepted that present, interpret or re-interpret works of art by means of cinematic methods, according to festival secretary Katalin Hatvani.
Eligible films may also deal with the life or certain stages of one or more artists of art groups. The festival also welcomes works that discover certain tendencies or periods of fine arts or their social context.
Finally, films may be created by using artistic methods or instruments, such as animated and experimental films or features.
