First Hungarian Film Showcase set for London

By FNE Staff

The centennial of Hungarian filmmaking will be celebrated in London with a film showcase running June 26-29. Organized by the Hungarian Cultural Centre, the showcase will be attended by guests including this year's Cannes festival competitor Kornel Mundruczo.

The screenings, at the Curzon Mayfair, include the Oscar nominated short film, Maestro, and Mundruczo's Day after Day. Other titles include Gyorgi Palfi's Hukkle. Each feature film will be preceded by award-winning short films. A question and answer session with the directors follows the presentations.
