Baltic Sea Docs 2015 Selects 25 Projects

    RIGA: The 19th Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries (BSD) taking place 2-6 September 2015 in Riga announced its final selection of 25 projects, representing 13 countries. They include six Latvian projects, four Estonian projects, three Lithuanian projects, and two projects from Poland.

    BSD is organized by the National Film Centre of Latvia in collaboration with European Documentary Network. BSD is financially supported by Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia, Creative Europe MEDIA Sub-Programme and the co-operation platform Baltic Films.
    The projects will be presented to commissioning editors and sales agents. BSD events include a preparation workshop and project pitching session for the representatives of selected projects as well as an open workshop on documentaries in the new technology era, and screenings of documentary films to the general public. During the preparation workshop 2-4 September, film producers and directors will be guided by the international team of tutors.
