Marius Jampolskis - Lithuanian Actor in the Spotlight

    Marius Jampolskis was awarded Lithuania's 2008 Silver Crane for best actor in Kristina Buozyte's Collectress.

    {mosimage} Marius Jampolskis was born at 1978 Kaunas, Lithuania. He studied acting at the Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy and took his master degree internship in Denmark. Since 2003 he has been working at the Vilnius DOLL Puppet Theatre and since 2005 at the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre. In 2005 Jampolskis was awarded the Golden Stage Cross as the best yound artist in Lithuania for the role of Mordred role in the play Gutten Land directed by Gintaras Varnas.

    {mosimage}Jampolskis has performed in productions of Lithuanian and international Film studios.

    In 2005 Jampolskis was cast in the feature film, directed by Algimantas Puipa, Forest of the Gods.

    In 2006 Jampolskis appeared in the Russian comedy folk-tale by STV Film Company, Khottabych, a remake of the 1956 USSR film Old Man Khottabych.

    Jampolskis is also known as the star of TV serials Woman Lie Better and When I was Partisan.{mosimage}
