SKOPJE: Macedonian non-governmental organisation OXO is producing the TV series Prespav, which aired 31 October 2016 on TV Telma

Prespav is an original 40-episodes prime time series telling the story of brothers Buzalevski, who open a pension in the Prespa region in Macedonia, thanks to funds received from the EU. Pension Prespav is a metaphor for real social developments in the country, which violates the Balkan mentality which the characters cannot escape, and the desire to respect and establish European standards. This situation puts the characters in conflict and misunderstanding arising from comic situations.

The series is produced by OXO with support from the European Union. The producer is Pece Taleski and the series is created by the director Igor Ivanov. The main characters are played by Vlado Jovanovski, Jelena Jovanova, Tijana Dapcevic, Igor Angelov, Igor Stojcevski, Vasil Zafircev, Goran Stojanoski I Adrian Aziri. The episodes are directed by Igor Ivanov, Vardan Tozija, Eleonora Veninova and Darijan Pejovski.
