SYNOPSIS
Traditional diving to celebrate Epiphany is a man’s business. But this time it is Petrunija who retrieves the holy cross from the icy waters. Come what may, she defends her triumph. A satire about a society full of stereotypes and fatal opportunism.

During the festival and for the purpose of promotion of the film God Exists, Her Name Is Petrunija and Macedonia as a favorable shooting destination, the Macedonian Film Agency and Sisters and Brother Mitevski Production have booked several city lights on key locations across Berlin
Shooting Stars
Macedonian actor Blagoj Veselinov is the official Macedonian nominee for the 2019 “Shooting Stars”, an initiative of the European Film Promotion. Representatives of the Macedonian Film Agency, a member of European Film Promotion, will attend some of the events organized by the network.
Berlinale Talents
Young Macedonian actress Sara Klimoska is part of this year’s Berlinale Talents.
*The Minister of culture of Republic of Macedonia has also confirmed his attendance at Berlin International Film Festival, and is expected to have meetings with important representatives of European film associations and organizations.
