Colin Firth Shoots Donald Crowhurst Film in Malta

    VALLETTA: In what is turning into a record-breaking year for film production in Malta, the Malta Film Commission has announced the fifth foreign film to shoot in the island nation in 2016. 

    The UK’s untitled Donald Crowhurst project directed by James Marsh and starring Colin Firth, Rachel Weisz and David Thewlis, has begun filming in Malta on location and at the water tanks in the Malta Film Studios.

    The latest production to arrive in Malta overlaps with the Luc Besson US/French production The Lake which is scheduled to film in Malta through September with film services provided by Falkun Films.
