WROCLAW: The third New Horizons Studio, a training session taking place 23-26 July as part of the T-Mobile New Horizons IFF (www.nowehoryzonty.pl), will add the Cottbus (www.filmfestivalcottbus.de) and Locarno film festivals as partners for the 2012 edition.
Fourteen Polish filmmakers will be selected by New Horizons, and ten foreign participants will be selected by the partner festivals. The other partner festivals are Transilvania (www.tiff.ro , Indie Lisboa and Cinessonne
The New Horizons Studio will cover topics including promotion, film marketing, sales, pitching, networking and festival strategy.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
