WARSAW: Polish commercial TV broadcaster TVN (www.tvn.pl) is in exclusive discussions with Ringier Axel Springer Media over the sale of TVN's web portal Onet.pl (www.onet.pl ).
The discussions, which are to go through May, could result in a joint venture between the two companies, with TVN retaining a minority stage in Onet.pl.
TVN has valued Onet.pl at 1.4 billion PLN (335 million euros). The partnership follows the 2011 TVN agreement with Vivendi covering TVN's pay TV operations.
