FNE profiles the participants during the month of August.

    Sebastian Ładyżyński, Composer (Poland)

Born in 1985 in Wrocław, Sebastian Ładyżyński holds a Master's Degree from the Academy of Music in Wrocław, where he is currently working at the Computer Music Studio. He has been a member of the Young Polish Composers' Union since 2008 and undertook postgraduate Studies of Film and Computer Music and Audiovisual Arts at the Academy of Music in Łódź, Poland (2009-2011). Karnecki for 80 Million ((www.mediabrigade.pl), directed by Waldemar Krzystek. Currently, he's engaged in creative work and teaching.

"An experience like the New Horizons Studio, where you meet and work with so many creative film professionals is always good for my personal development. As a film composer I need a film director to create, so what I am mostly looking for during these workshops is a good relationship with a filmmaker. A great benefit is that we can work in international groups and share different experiences about our creative process and about how the industry works," Ładyżyński told FNE.

    Currently working on:
Ładyżyński is preparing for his master studies in King's College,
    London (music composition, MMus).
