Twelve Projects Selected for ScripTeast

    WARSAW: Twelve feature film projects from eight countries are participating in the 7th edition of ScripTeast, a year-long programme for experienced writers from Central and Eastern Europe.

    An immersive, seven day first session concluded on 6 October 2012 in Ossolinski Place, Sterdyn in Poland. Participating screenwriters, came from 8 Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Serbia to work intensely on their feature film scripts with the support of established filmamkers.

    The distinguished group of Creative Advisors includes Michael Schiffer, an American screenwriter of the triple Oscar nominated film Crimson Tide; Neasa Hardiman, Dublin-based screenwriter and director, winner of the BAFTA; Dennis Bartok, American director, screenwriter and producer; David Matamoros, Spain-based screenwriter, director and producer from Zentropa; Trygve Allister Diesen, Scandinavian director and screenwriter and others.
