Traction Media Picks up Borcuch’s Lasting

WARSAW: L.A. based Traction Media will handle North American rights for Jacek Borcuch’s fourth feature film Lasting which premieres on 20 January 2013 in competition at Sundance IFF.

The film will have its European premiere in the Spectrum section of Rotterdam IFF.

Lasting was written and directed by Borcuch and produced and internationally distributed by Manana with support from the Polish Film Institute and the Krakow Regional Film Fund.

The story about two young Poles who meet while working in Spain for the summer stars Jakub Gierszał (The Suicide Room) and model Magdalena Berus (Baby Blues). Borcuch’s third film All That I Love screened at Sundance and was the 2011 Polish Oscar entry.
