Kino Polska TV Invests in TV Shopping

    WARSAW: Kino Polska TV has bought 80% of the shares in Polish TV shopping company TV Okazje.

    Kino Polska TV is one of the major Polish media groups and owner of cinema oriented channels Kino Polska and Filmbox. The contract was finalised on 20 September 2014 and the total cost of the transaction was 59 000 PLN.

    TV Okazje is a Polish company specialising in selling different products via television programming, including time slots on the Kino Polska channel and on the Internet. Kino Polska TV informed FNE that the purchase was made for the company to sell blocks of TV shopping programming to other broadcasters from Poland and Europe, with plans to reach a positive EBTIDA result in 2015.
