Łukasz Grzegorzek co-wrote together with Krzysztof Umiński a script that follows the life of Kamper, who earns his living testing computer games. His life is perfect until he discovers that his wife Mania cheated on him. He will try to take revenge by starting an affair with a Spanish teacher, but in this game he himself will be tested.
"We based the character of Kamper on a couple of people we knew. There are a lot of autobiographical elements here. We shot most of the film in my house as I thought it would be interesting and a bit perverse to live this fictional drama there and to explore how relationships work", the director said.
The film was produced by Natalia Grzegorzek through Koskino in coproduction with Opus Film, D35 Integrated Cinema Services and Toya Studios. The budget is 324,481 EUR / 1.4 m PLN, of which 92,994 EUR / 400,000 PLN was covered by a production grant from the Polish Film Institute.
The film premiered in the Main Competition at the 51st International Film Festival in Karlov Vary and will be distributed in Poland by M2Films. The date of the release has not been announced yet.
