WARSAW: Marie Curie, the Polish/German/French coproduction about Maria Skłodowska-Curie directed by Marie Noëlle, opened in Spanish cinemas on 2 June 2017 distributed by Betta Pictures.
Marie Curie showcases the life and career of one of the most recognised scientists and the first woman to win a Nobel Prize. The leading role is played by a Polish actress Karolina Gruszka and the cast includes Polish actors Izabela Kuna, Piotr Głowacki, Daniel Olbrychski, French and German actors André Wilms, Charles Berling, Sabin Tambrea and Samuel Finzi.
The film was produced by Pokromski Studio in coproduction with P’Artisan Filmproduktion (Germany) and Sepia Production (France). Marie Curie opened in Polish cinemas on 3 March 2017, distributed by Kino Świat and sold 372,503 tickets to date.
