First-half profits totaled 28.8 million zloty (€7.7 million), while revenue for the first half was 202.4 million zloty, an 8.4% rise from last year. EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) amounted to 101.1 million zloty, a year-on-year rise of more than 13%.
Multimedia, which has 600,000 subscribers to its cable, broadband and telephone services, raised 230 million zloty on the Warsaw Stock Exchange last year for acquisitions. Its strategy envisions entering some larger Polish cities yet this year as it expands its network.
