FESTIVALS: Gdynia announces film selections

    The Polish Film Festival in Gdynia will present 21 films in the main competition, with another 15 films in the Panorama of Polish films section.

    The 35th edition of the Gdynia festival (pl.fpff.pl), which was traditionally held in autumn, takes place May 24-29.

    The main competition includes films from noted Polish directors included Jan Jakub Kolski with Venice, along with a number of younger filmmakers.

    The festival's relatively new Independent Cinema section is comprised of 18 films from largely unknown filmmakers.
