TVN Leads Polish Advertising Revenue

    WARSAW: Private stations TVN www.tvn.pl) and Polsat (www.polsat.pl) were the leaders in advertising income in Poland in 2010. TVN's revenues topped 3 million PLN, a 9% increase from 2009. Polsat's advertising income rose by 10.8%.

    Public broadcaster TVP (www.tvp.pl) trailed in advertising revenues, but had suprisingly high overall growth in 2010. Channels TVP 1 and TVP 2 ad income grew respectivley by 29.3% and 33.7%. Among thematic statons the biggest growth in income was achieved by music channel 4fun.tv, which made more than doubled in 2010, with growth of 116.6%.
