Polish Film Festivals Announce New Association

    WARSAW: The directors of main Poland's leading film festivals signed a 19 April 2011 co-operation agreement to further develop and raise the level of Polish film events.

    The directors of Krakow Film Festival (Krzysztof Gierat, www.kff.com.pl), Era New Horizons (Roman Gutek, www.enh.pl), Plus Camerimage (Marek Żydowicz, www.pluscamerimage.pl) and Warsaw Film Festival (Stefan Laudyn, www.wff.pl) established the Porozumienie Czołowych Międzynarodowych Festivali Filmowych w Polsce (Association of Major International Film Festivals in Poland).

    The members of the new institution declared their willingness to exchange knowledge and experience as well as co-operation in order to ensure the continued rise in the rankings of international film festivals in Poland.
