Thirteen CEE Films Score Spot in European Film Awards 2014 Selection

    RIGA: The 27th European Film Awards will take place in this year's Capital of Culture, Latvia's capital Riga. The European Film Academy and EFA Productions announced the titles of the 50 selected films from 31 European countries with 13 of the films coming from Central and Eastern Europe.

    Poland scores high with three films in the selection, the Polish-Danish coproduction, Ida directed by Pawel Pawlikowski, Papusza directed by Krzysztof Krauze and Joanna-Kos Krauze and Andrzej Wajda’s biopic Walesa, Man of Hope. The nominations will be announced on 8 November at the Seville European Film Festival in Spain.
