Roland RustAfter working for Film Festival Cottbus since 1992, Roland Rust will move on to address new tasks. He has been the festival's artistic director since 1996 and its director since 2003.
The unique festival of Eastern European films in East Germany was founded in 1991 on the initiative of former East German film clubs. Roland Rust was responsible for developing and designing the cinematic programme and representing Film Festival Cottbus both nationally and internationally.
No announcement about a new director has been made yet. The 24th edition of Film Festival Cottbus will be held from 4 to 11 November 2014.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region.
