CANNES: Gyorgy Kristof's Out, a coproduction between Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Latvia, and Romanian director Ionut Piturescu's feature Borders, have both been selected for Cinefoundation's Atelier in 2015. The films are to be among 15  in-development projects that will try to secure funding at this year's Cannes Film Festival.

Kristof's Out is budgeted at 1.1 m EUR and is produced by Sentimentalfilm and was supported by the Slovak Audiovisual Fund. Borders is a coproduction between Romania and Denmark produced by Patricia Drati Rønde for Anthropoesis Films in Romania and CPH:LAB in Denmark.

Established in 2005 with the aim of encouraging creative cinema and fostering the emergence of a new generation of filmmakers by helping them to round off the funding of their films, the Atelier has selected a total of 156 projects, of which 103 have already been released in theatres.
