LUX Films Make Their Annual Trek across Europe

    BRUSSELS: The LUX Film Days, established in 2012, will again showcase the LUX Film Prize finalists in 24 languages in the 28 member states of the European Union.

    The finalists are My Life as a Courgette by Claude Barras, Toni Erdmann by Maren Ade (a German/Austrian/Romanian coproduction by Romania’s Hi Film Productions) and As I Open My Eyes by Leyla Bouzid. The three finalists are travelling through more than 50 European cities from November 2016 to January 2017.

    Stops along the way include Estonia (Tallinn), Slovenia (Nova Gorica, Ljubljana, Krsko and Ptuj), the Slovak Republic (Bratislava), Romania (Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest and Targu Mures), Cyprus (Nicosia), Croatia (Zagreb), Latvia (Riga), Poland (Wroclaw and Warsaw), Lithuania (Vilnius, Kaunas and Panevezys), and the Czech Republic (Brno).
