TRIESTE: Six projects were awarded 10,000 EUR each as co-development funding support during the second round of RE–ACT. The ceremony was held in the framework of the annual When East Meets West Co-production Forum in Trieste on 24 January 2017.
The winners were announced by the representatives of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, Friuli Venezia Giulia Audiovisual Fund and the Slovenian Film Centre, the partner funds of the transregional audiovisual cooperation and training initiative RE–ACT, set up in 2015.
A total of 22 applications had been submitted.
The coproduction forum When East Meets West took place during the 28th Trieste Film Festival, from 22 to 24 January 2016.

The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
