Cinesquare is expanding its digital services in CEE territories, with the launch of a subscription offer. This new SVOD service complements Cinesquare existing, successful TVOD offer, which is two years bringing together some of the best films from the fast growing and dynamic cinema from CEE countries and independent European films. The subscription offer is available in all 13 countries Cinesquare covers – Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo and Turkey.
The subscription service is curated by a selected group of experts, including critics, filmmakers and festival programmers. The content of the platform is feature films and documentaries, as well as short films majority Balkan films and European films. The catalogue is over 800 films + signed and negotiated, translated into several SEE languages, which will continuously increase. The subscription for Cinesquare in all countries costs 1.99 EUR per month with 1 month free trial and additional discount on 3-months and 12-months subscription.
CutAway Films Distribution launched CineSquare in April 2017 with the day-and-date release of the Dutch film for children The Little Gangster in Macedonia, Albania and Croatia, dubbed in the languages of the three countries. It is the largest video on demand service for promotion and distribution of films in the Balkan region with focus on Balkan and European films. Cinesquare project is designed as a unique concept that covers 13 territories in Southeast Europe with potential reach to 140 million people with partnership with local and European partners and is the only one that has films from this part of the world. Cinesquare`s key innovation is its ability to use the internet’s capacity and the good infrastructure in the region and the habits of the Balkan viewer that is very active online for sharing to bring creative cinema to a wider audience.

DAY-AND-DATE AND FESTIVAL-TO DATE-RELEASES – Cinesquare has had three successful day-and-date releases in cooperation with cinemas in 3 different countries and three successful festival-to-date releases in collaboration with two film festivals in two countries.
