An Iranian debut film, Forbidden Love, which is set to film in Turkey will star Polish actress Helena Poplavsky and at least six Turkish actors.
According to a report in the Tehran Times, the first film from Yashar Sarboland will be filmed on location in northwestern Turkey in September. The cast also includes one Iranian in a lead role.
The film is produced by Turkey's Can Ulusoy, due to the sensitive nature of the storyline and the unwillingneww of any Iranian producer to take on the project. The project was in development for ten years.
