FNE at KVIFF: Voice Bank Expands Activities

    KARLOVY VARY: Vox Humana - The Voice Bank launched a new film festival interview series at the Karlovy Vary IFF (www.kviff.com) with Hungarian director Istvan Szabo as its first subject.

    The Voice Bank collects and distributes recordings of famous artistic personalities worldwide. In its Cinema Collection, it has collected the voices of over 500 film directors covering the entire of film in over 800 hours of recordings.

    The Vox Humana sessions are organized at mjor film festivals, where a single film personality speaks in front of an audience of his work and himself, in conversation with the fil festival director and Voice Bank moderator Gideon Bachmann, a veteran festival presenter and film critic.

    Vox Humana - The Voice Bank is a subsidiary of the European Film Institute in Germany and part of the Cultural Memory Foundation of Switzerland.
