Crulic – The Path to Beyond Sells in Foreign Territories

    {mosimage}BUCHAREST: The Romanian-Polish animated documentary Crulic - The Path to Beyond directed by Anca Damian was sold by Wide House/Wide Management (www.widemanagement.com, under construction) has been sold to France, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

    Fondivina Films (http://video.fondivina.com) will distribute the documentary in France in spring. Film Europe (www.filmeurope.eu) will distribute it in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

    Damian's film opened in Romania on 21 October 2011 and in Poland on 1 December. It had its world premiere at Locarno Festival, where it received the Special Mention Don Quixote. It was also awarded at Cottbus, Warsaw, Jihlava, ASTRA Film Fest Sibiu and CPH DOX.

    Crulic - Drumul spre dincolo/Crulic - The Way Beyond was produced by the Romanian Aparte Film (www.apartefilm.net) in co-production with the Polish Fundacja im. Ferdynanda Magellana (www.fmagellan.pl). It was supported by the Polish Film Institute (www.pisf.pl), the Regional Fund Krakow/the Krakow Film Commission (http://www.film-commission.pl/en/o-film-comission/krakow-film-fund, the Romanian National Centre for Cinema (www.cncinema.abt.ro), the Romanian Ministry of Culture (www.cultura.ro), Editura Video (www.editura-video.ro), the Romanian Cultural Institute from Warsaw (http://www.icr.ro/varsovia) and DSG Visual Effects and Animation (www.dsg.ro).
