BUCHAREST: Strategies Research Investments SRL has acquired a stake of 86.51 per cent in Romanian TV and radio company Realitatea Media.
Realitatea Media broadcasts Realitatea TV, The Money Channel, Realitatea FM and Radio Guerrilla. The company went bankrupt in September 2011.
According to Mediafax press agency, the new owners received a satellite licence for Realitatea Plus, a TV channel expected to begin broadcasting from Romania into the Western Balkans and the Republic of Moldova in January 2013.
