The money came mostly from Romania but also from 60 countries especially Great Britain, Germany, USA and Austria.

The International Animation Film Festival anim'est, the only festival in Romania dedicated exclusively to animated films received 527 EUR from 65 backers for its 8th edition in October 2013. NexT International Film Festival received 425 EUR from 39 sponsors for its 7th edition already held in April 2013, and the International Children Film Festival Kinodiseea received 86 EUR from 16 backers for its 5th edition.

The majority of the funds went to music and theatre festivals.

We Are Here, organised by MyKey, began on 2 April 2013 and concluded on 23 April. The minimum amout that could be pledged was 5 EUR.
