Crazy Teens/Liceenii 2000 (working title) follows three teenage girls going on an escapade on the beach right before high school final exams. Iacob and Maria Spirache wrote the script. Crina Semciuc, Olimpia Melinte (Seven Acts of Mercy) and Flavia Hojda play the lead roles. Viorel Sergovici (Aurora) is DoP.
According to the director, the film is "showing the young generation just as it is: alcohol, constraints imposed by the parents, crazy parties, Facebook, girls discovering sex too early and love afterwards." Crazy Teens won a debut feature production grant of 180,995 EUR/800,000 RON from the National Centre for Cinema in April 2013. The premiere will probably be in 2014, representatives of MediaPro Pictures told FNE.
Iacob's short film In Godfather's Movie/In film la naşu' was included in he program Hot Shorts launched in cinemas by MediaPro Distribution in 2012.
