ProSiebenSat.1 Sells Romanian Prima TV

    BUCHAREST: The Competition Council of Romania has authorised the take over of Prima TV by the Romanian company Graffiti Red SRL of SBS Broadcasting Media SRL (which has the licence of Prima TV), and Prime Time Productions SRL.

    In December 2013, ProSiebenSat.1 Group announced the sale of the channel Kiss TV and radio stations Kiss FM, Magic FM, One FM and Rock FM to the Greek company Antenna Group and the sale of Prima TV to Cristian Burci and Graffiti Red SRL.

    Romanian entrepreneur Burci bought back Prima TV after selling it to SBS Broadcasting Media in 2005. ProSiebenSat.1 announced its intention to sell its Eastern European TV and radio holdings when it sold its Northern European portfolio in December 2012 in order to concentrate on the expansion of its German-speaking television and digital business.
