Păunescu is producing through Castel with Vlad Paunescu and Mihai Manescu as scriptwriters and Adrian Silişteanu (Angling, Best Intentions) as the DoP. The main character is Ema Cerchez, editor of a well-known investigative TV show, who confronts dirty business threatening to compromise her career and disclose painful truths about her childhood.

Regina directului /Live with Ema aka Live Queen won a production grant of 216,551 EUR (942,000 RON) from the National Centre for Cinema in November 2011. Casting is underway. Shooting will take 30 days and Castel sources told FNE an opening date is not yet set.
