Aferim! Wins Everything at Gopo Awards

    BUCHAREST: Radu Jude’s Aferim! won in all 12 categories in which it was nominated, including Best Film, at the 10th Gopo Awards. The ceremony took place at the National Theatre “Ion Luca Caragiale” in Bucharest on 28 March 2016.

    It is the first time when a film won so many prizes at the Gopo Gala. A total of 84 films were submitted for the nominations which were decided by a jury of professionals. Romanian film professionals voted for the winners.

    The Gopo Gala was organized by Romanian Film Promotion with the support of the National Film Center and Babel Communications.
