Less Is More Announces Selected Projects

    BUCHAREST: Sixteen projects, including ones from Macedonia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Romania and Poland, have been selected for the first edition of Less Is More. Romania's Asociatia Culturala Control N and Transilvania IFF and Poland's Krakow Festival Office are the CEE partners of this European script development platform.

    A total of 290 applications coming from 59 nationalities were submitted, out of which 16 projects of first feature films and four emerging European producers were selected, including two producers from Poland and Romania - Aneta Zagorska and Gabriela Suciu.

    The platform was initated by Le Groupe Ouest (France) and is supported by Creative Europe – MEDIA Programme of the European Union. Belgium is partnering through Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds.

    LIM consists of three workshops, which will take place in Belgium (5-12 March 2017), Romania (5-13 June 2017) and France (1-8 October 2017). The participants will receive support and guidance throughout an eight month period through internet and visual reality, and they will also benefit from two days of meetings during the Transilvania IFF.
