    BUCHAREST: Cinema Elvire Popesco from Bucharest and Agrafka & Kika from Krakow are among the winners of the Europa Cinemas Awards 2017 announced at the 20th Europa Cinemas Network Conference in Bucharest on 24 November 2017.

    Boglarka Nagy, the programmer of Cinema Elvire Popesco, Bucharest, Romania received Best Programming Award.

    Bogdan Balicki, co-programmer of the cinemas Agrafka and KIKA in Krakow, Poland received Best Young Audiences Activities Award.

    The Entrepreneur of the Year Award went to Lionello Cerri, the CEO of Anteo from Milan, Italy.

    The 20th Europa Cinemas Network Conference is taking place in Bucharest from 24 to 26 November 2017. Since its first conference in 1993, the network developed from 45 cinemas to 1088 cinemas with 2,684 screens located in 654 towns from 41 countries.
