By Iulia Blaga

Darido TV received a license from the National Audiovisual Council of Romania (www.cna.ro) on September 24 for a Hungarian language channel.

The channel is an 800,000 euro investment of SC Tematic Cable SRL Oradea, and will start to air in November 1. Its target is the 50-60 year old Hungarian population from Transylvania.

Darido TV will air mostly Hungarian pop music, and its shows will be subtitled in Romanian. The channel will be available through Digi TV from RCS&RDS (www.rcs-rds.ro), and will be received via satellite.
