The film was bought to be distributed also in Italy (by Archibald), Benelux (Lumiere/Filmuseum), Portugal (Midas), Greece and Cyprus (Rosebud), Hungary (Budapest Films), ex-Yugoslavia (Megacom), Israel (Orlando Films) and Australia (SBS-TV and PAN TV).
The awards received by the film include the Silver Bear for Outstanding Artistic Contribution at the Berlinale 2009, and New Talent Grand Prix at the Copenhagen IFF. Hilda Peter received the Best Actress Award at this year's Brussels IFF.
