The Happiest Girl in the World/Cea mai fericită fată din lume was previously sold to Slovenia, ex-Yugoslavia and Austria. The film was first presented at the Berlinale 2009, where it received the C.I.C.A.E. award.
Since its premiere in Cannes 2010, Tuesday After Christmas has been sold to more than 20 territories including USA, France, Great Britain, Benelux and Greece. The film will be released by Kino Lorber in the U.S. in May 2011.
The Happiest Girl in the World/Cea mai fericită fată din lume is a coproduction between the Romanian HiFilm Production (www.hifilm.ro) and the Dutch Circe Films (www.circe.nl), with the support of the Romanian National Centre for Cinema (www.cncinema.abt.ro).
Tuesday After Christmas/Marţi, după Crăciun is a Romanian production of Multimedia Est (www.mme.ro) with the support of the National Centre for Cinema.
