Representatives of Firefly Production told FNE that the company aimes to become the Central and East Europe’s most innovative producer of premium content, that attracts audiences, media owners and advertisers, as well as a story telling content company aiming at unlocking the incredible potential that Serbia holds.

The company has already sealed a deal with a Serbian client (whose name is still secret) for three high-profile television drama series. The slate includes the criminal-turned-businessman saga Tycoon / Tajkun directed by Miroslav Terzić, the gangster series The Clan / Klan directed by Boban Skerlić and the detective thriller Underneath / Močvara by Oleg Novković. The production on all the three titles is to start as soon as October 2019.

Boban Jevtić headed Film Center Serbia from the autumn of 2015 up to May 2019.
