Mira Fornay’s second feature film My Dog Killer (www.mirafox.sk) has been selected for the Tiger Awards competition. The film, which was in the 2010 Berlinale Co-production Market, looks at a transformative day in the life of a young Slovak man whose best friend is his dog.

Mátyás Prikler’s debut film Fine, Thanks (www.mphilms.sk) will screen in the Bright Future section. The film, which originated as a short film that screened in Cannes in 2010, is a trio of stories with an epilogue taking place against the backdrop of the current financial crisis.
