Be2Can Takes Off in Czech Republic and Slovakia

    BRATISLAVA: The first edition of Be2Can (6-15 October 2014) is showing the best of the best from Berlin, Venice and Cannes. Be2Can takes place in cinemas, on Video-On-Demand at O2 Czech Republic Videotheque and on the Film Europe Channel on TV.

    "Be2Can is not only about movies and their awards. We would like to help Czech and Slovak film fans to better understand the structure and dramaturgy of major film festivals and bring them closer insight into their backstage," says Ivan Hronec, the founder, owner and CEO of Film Europe Media Company.

    Nineteen films will be screened in 13 cinemas in 10 towns. The line-up in cinemas includes Winter Sleep (Zeyno Film, Memento Films Prod. and Bredok Filmproduction) , Leviathan, Clouds of Sils Maria, In Order of Disappearance and Goodbye to Language. There will be 51 premieres available on VOD such as Blue is the Warmest Color, Child’s Pose (Parada Film) , The Great Beauty, Faust and Iron Sky. Free Range/Ballad on Approving of the World, Four Times and  A Story of Children and Film will be released day-and-date in cinemas, VOD and on the Film Europe Channel.
