FESTIVALS: Fest Anča Announces Lineup

    ŽILINA: The 8th Fest Anča International Animation Festival is ready to start with several competitions for short films from 24 to 28 June 2015.

    A showcase of the Slovak and international animation production, the festival has an international competition for student films, an international competition for music videos, an international competition for films for kids, a competition for Slovak film and it will also give a distribution award for a short Slovak film.

    As a rule, the competition is only for short films and the feature films are screened out of the competition. The sidebar includes World Panorama, Jiri Barta and Rein Raamat profiles, Golden Years of Estonian Animation, The Great War – Animated Memories, Best of Nukufilm Studio, workshops, masterclasses, concerts and last but not least three industry days.

    At the Pitching Forum projects by Slovak and Czech animators will be assessed by experts, film professionals and the jury who will choose the best project in the categories of short animated film and animated TV series on 25 June 2015.
