BRATISLAVA: Slovak director Juraj Lehotský is preparing to start shooting his second feature film Nina in March 2016.
Nina is an intimate portrait of a girl going through the divorce of her parents. She observes the hate between the grown-ups as she becomes the tool of their mutual harm. Forced to decide who she would rather live with, she decides differently than expected. Marek Leščák and Juraj Lehotský wrote the script.
The film is produced by Slovakia‘s Punkchart Films in coproduction with Slovakia‘s Lehotsky Film and endorfilm from the Czech Republic. The planned budget is 700,000 EUR.
The project was financially supported by the Slovak Audiovisual Fund with 204,700 EUR and by Creative Europe MEDIA Programme with 30,000 EUR.
The premiere is set for February 2017. Punkchart Films is handling the sales.
