FNE at Fest Anca 2016: Animation Festival Features Slovak Competition

    ZILINA: Slovakia is set for the opening of its third festival in three weeks, with Fest Anca scheduled to take place 29 June to 3 July.

    The Slovak festival of international animation will have a competition of films for children, a competition of short films, a competition of music videos and a competition of eight short Slovak animated films. The winning Slovak film will receive a prize of 600 EUR.

    The festival has special sections devoted to animation from Croatia, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Greece. The industry programme will include a presentation from the Visegrad Animation Forum and programmes devoted to video games.
