VSMU Hosts Visegrad Film Forum

    BRATISLAVA: The VSMU film school in central Bratislava was the heart of the 6th edition of the Visegrad Film Forum, hosting master classes with film and TV professionals for an international roster of film school students.

    Among those leading master classes were HBO’s Steve Matthews, currently leading the pay-TV channel’s drive to originate world-class programming in its CEE territories. Also speaking at VFF was scriptwriter Stefan Hulik who wrote two of HBO’s most successful local series, Burning Bush directed by Agnieszka Holland and Wasteland, and Tomas Hruby of nutprodukce, which partnered with HBO on both mini-series. Also attending was debuting British director and Berlinale Silver Bear winner Peter Strickland.
