Grant for Slovene film museum

By FNE Staff

A proposed museum of Slovene film actors has received a grant of €1,234,845 from the EEA and Norway grants program.

The construction of the museum is taking place in conjunction with partner organization, the Norwegian Film and TV School in Lillehammer, which will be providing professional advice and conducting collaborative workshops.

Located in the town of Divaca (www.divaca.si), the new museum will expand an existing museum dedicated to Slovenia's first international film star, Ita Rina. Construction is expected to be completed in 2011.

Founded in 2004, the EEA and Norway Grants (www.eeagrants.org) programme funds programs in EU countries located in Central and Southern Europe.
