By Kerem Akca

Breath (Nefes) directed by Levent Semerci is the first war movie about Sirnak and terrorism on the south-eastern border of Turkey. The film, with a cast of first-time actors, was produced by Fida Film (www.fidafilm.com) and Creavidi Film (www.creavidi.com).

{mosimage}The film was released on 16 September, 2009, in Turkey. It had 19.8 million Turkish liras box office income with 2.45 million admissions.

The budget was 3.4 million dollars, making it the third highest film in 2009 box office after Recep Ivedik 2 and Gunesi Gordum (I Saw The Sun), last year's Academy Award nominee from Turkey.

Fida Film is one the main producers of the industry, involved in most of the Cem Yilmaz films.
